ABOUT US

Established in October 2000 DCE have offices and workshops in Tankersley (Sheffield), England and Whitburn in Scotland. The two sites allow the company to operate throughout the UK and have developed an enviable reputation for a high and professional standard of work, built upon quality and experience.

The company employs a workforce of between 40 and 60 site operatives, consisting of lead drillers, drillers and grouters. The site operations are managed by supervisors and managers with in excess of 30 years experience within the drilling industry.

Site operatives and management are backed up by Senior Management consisting of Divisional Managers and Directors with in excess of 40 years national and international experience within the industry.

As a corporate member of the British Drilling Association, Construction Line and the UK and International based Ground Source Heat Pump Associations, the company are committed to the training and development of all its employees. All drilling operatives have either completed or are currently enrolled on training programmes to achieve NVQ status. DCE were instrumental in conjunction with the CITB in recognising and implementing construction related Occupation (CRO) cards for grouting operatives.

As part of DCE’s commitment to health and safety mentor services have been appointed to act as safety consultants and regularly undertake site safety audits and issue advice as appropirate.

DRILLING FLEET AND EQUIPMENT

The company owns an extensive fleet of multi-functional drilling and grouting equipment, all of which are serviced and maintained by our Plant Manager and his staff within our modern maintenance facilities.

The above plant resources enable DCE to meet the stringent specification and programmes prevalent within the drilling sector of the construction industry.
